Abigail Visco Rusert, MDiv ’08, is the director of the Institute for Youth Ministry and teaches a practicum course at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is the principal investigator on the Log College Project, a $1.2 million initiative funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. to help churches research and design new forms of youth ministry that challenge the youth group model.
She is an ordained PC (USA) pastor, earned a BA from Valpariso University, and is a doctoral student in practical theology at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Rusert has worked as an associate pastor, researcher, youth director, chaplain, and camp counselor. She speaks regularly at ministry training events, and authored a chapter in the forthcoming book Delighted: What Teenagers Are Teaching the Church About Joy (Eerdmans, 2020). She and her husband live in Doylestown, Pennsylvania with their three children.
