Wes Ellis, MDiv/MA ’16, is a veteran youth worker and the associate pastor of First United Methodist Church of Toms River, New Jersey. He has served in UCC, Presbyterian, and Methodist churches and has published and presented on youth ministry’s intersections with disability, childhood studies, eschatology, and theological anthropology. He is a co-editor of the forthcoming book, Embodied Youth: Exploring Youth Ministry and Disability (Routledge, 2020) and he is a co-author of Delighted: What Teenagers Are Teaching the Church About Joy (Eerdmans, 2020). He lives in Toms River with his wife, Amanda, and their two children, Bonnie and Henry.
